Here’s everything we learnt from the flashy new showing of Xenoblade Chronicles 2:
- The story looks to be dramatic, similar to the first game in the Xenoblade series
- The new combat system is extensive with Persona-like elements
- Free day one DLC will add dual audio – a Japanese voice-track
- You can pre-purchase an expansion pass starting today – it costs a princely £26.99
- Support items are coming in December 2017 – expansion pass
- New quests are coming in January 2018 – expansion pass
- There will be a new, rare blade in Spring 2018 – expansion pass
- There’s going to be a challenge battle mode in the Summer of next year – expansion pass
- A brand new story adventure is on its way next Autumn – expansion pass
- Rex’s costume is coming to Breath of the Wild on November 9th via a new side quest for free
- You may pre-purchase the game on the eShop from today

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 will be released worldwide for the Switch on December 1st.
These limited edition pro controllers are gonna drive me crazy… there are already 3 of them that I want. What would I even do with 3 pro controllers?! Then again I’ve had the same problem with the limited edition 3DSes… Man, Nintendo is good at making pretty things that I want.
