With the announcement of the Xbox One X just over a month ago, there was a slew of already released titles that announced they would be releasing a 4K patch for the upcoming console. Most notably missing from that list of games was Halo 5: Guardians. Well fret not Halo fans, it looks like that will be changing.

In a community update, 343 Industries announced the following:
- Halo 5: Guardians will be receiving a 4K update for the Xbox One X later this year.
