Running in Nintendo Switch 2’s docked mode, Crash Bandicoot 4 is smoother on the new console. In short, you get quicker load times, a solid and locked frame rate, and 4K upscaling. While it’s still not the best way to experience the game visually, it’s now got it where it counts.
Switch 1: Docked – resolution: 1080p (dynamic), frame rate: targets 30 fps but often lower. Handheld – resolution: 720p, frame rate: targets 30 fps.
Switch 2: Docked – resolution: 1080p upscaled to 4K, frame rate: locked 30 fps. Handheld – resolution: 720p, frame rate: locked 30 fps.
