E3 2017: Switch version of Skyrim features a few treats for Nintendo fans

Need an extra reason to play Skyrim on your Switch? Bethesda has you covered, as they showed via a new trailer at their E3 conference.

The Switch edition of Skyrim will feature the Master Sword from The Legend of Zelda, along with Link’s blue tunic from Breath of the Wild. Amiibo support is also available; it looks like you can summon special treasure chests to help you out in battle with the figures.

Screenshot_1Motion control via the Switch’s Joy-Con controllers is also shown off. We see the player use a sword and shield and then a bow and arrow, all seemingly activated by moving your hands about. Great – if it all works as fluidly as shown! (Although I can’t imagine doing this in bed).

No further details surfaced though, such as a release date or price. Is Nintendo saving the rest for their E3 conference? We’ll find out tomorrow.
